This preventive approach is designed to help lower the risk of patients needing more complex dental care over time and combat rising dental costs, while also supporting the sustainability of education sector benefit plans.
Will OTIP members be required to use Member Dental Care?
When we launch our Member Dental Care offices, OTIP members will be encouraged to try our dental services. However, Member Dental Care is an optional choice for members and their families. OTIP members will be able to continue to use their current dentist if they wish.
